Portfolio- Black History

Black History is Canadian History

My knowledge and work regarding Canadian Black history is vast and includes a research paper I wrote on the Ontario Black History Society (OBHS) for one of my graduate degrees and a presentation at the Purdue University Blacker Than Though Conference. In 2020 I served as a guest curator for the exhibit The Object and The Story: Celebrating Black Canadian Histories at Sheridan College.

My Black History has work has been published in Brampton Alive, Sway Magazine, Maclean's Magazine, the ACBN blog and others. My grad school research papers— Western and York University specialized in Black history, in particular Black Press.

For a time, I did Black History Moments on a weekly CFRBAM1010 show.
