As the special features writer for the Brampton Guardian, much of my work involved writing about new homes and real estate and putting together special sections including "New Homes." ​Some of those sections won awards including "Best New Homes Supplement – New Home Buyers Guide. " I have written about and done PR in the home inspection industry.

 

​Some new home builders (or their agencies), later hired me to write for them and do their marketing and in one case work on their

events. I also served on the board of directors for the Brampton Heritage Board and Habitat for Humanity (Brampton, Brampton-Caledon, GTA affiliates).
