A closet extrovert who loves writing, running and rocking, Erica Phillips does a wide range of marketing communications work.

​

This corporate creative spark, who frequently gets lost in design work, uses her decades’ long journalism background to research, write and design compelling copy for presentations, event production, program books, sponsorship packages, websites, blogs, one sheets, scripts and other marketing materials. She also does editing, copywriting, advertorials, videos, photography, voiceovers, and emcee work.

A journalist turned marketing communications professional, Erica has a BA in political science and peace and conflict studies and MAs in journalism, and history. Erica has been published in ESSENCE, Revue/Odeum Magazine (Rose Theatre Brampton), Canadian Running, Ontario Homebuilder, Sway, Maclean's, the Brampton Guardian, Brampton Alive, South Asian Focus, and the Mississauga News, the Gleaner, Stonebridge Magazine, to name a few. Her specialties are health and fitness, arts, culture, history, plus new homes and real estate. She has also worked in radio as a reporter/writer/producer.

Erica’s extensive volunteer experience includes contributions to the arts, high school sports, municipal heritage, business, academic and community sectors as a board member.
